Season one
Three questions, about five minutes all together. Take them as a set and you get a season card; take one and you get its card. Every study is anonymous, preregistered by commit, and publishes its data and analysis script when it closes.
Study 1 · 90 seconds
The private dictionary of "soon"
How many minutes is "soon"? Twelve vague time-words, each asked twice. Your dictionary next to everyone else's.
Pilot. Open to invited testers.
Study 2 · 60 seconds
Can you name your four grandparents? Your eight great-grandparents? Where does your family go dark, and does it go dark on one side first? Fewer than half of Americans can name all four grandparents; that much is known.
Pilot. Open to invited testers.
Study 3 · 90 seconds
How long can someone hesitate before "sure" before you hear a "no"? And how long may an assistant keep you waiting before something feels wrong?
Pilot. Open to invited testers.
Later this season
The useless button. The silence threshold. Cursor-flinch. And the mentor's own standing question, the naming lineups: do found words beat invented ones, and why. Each opens when the one before it has been run and checked.
